Hi, I’m eliana

I'm a Doctor of Acupuncture and Eastern Medicine, wellness educator, and the founder of Breaking Wave.

My journey into healing began long before earning my doctorate. Like many people, I've experienced anxiety, periods of feeling disconnected, and the ongoing work of healing from life's challenges. Those experiences shaped not only the way I practice medicine, but also the way I see wellness as something that nurtures the mind, body, spirit, and our connection to the world around us.

As someone with Latin American roots, I've become increasingly inspired to reconnect with the healing traditions that have been passed down through generations. Through years of studying Eastern medicine and caring for patients, I've come to believe that healing doesn't come from one tradition alone. My vision for Breaking Wave is to thoughtfully bridge the wisdom of Eastern medicine with the rich traditions of Latin American and Indigenous healing practices. I believe there is incredible value in bringing together ancient wisdom, modern science, movement, nutrition, mindfulness, and our relationship with nature to create a more complete and compassionate approach to well-being.

Breaking Wave is a space dedicated to self-discovery, resilience, and intentional living. It's about helping people feel more connected to themselves, to their communities, and to the natural world.

As Breaking Wave continues to grow, I hope to create products that become meaningful companions on that journey. From acupressure tools and herbal wellness products to handcrafted jewelry, nature-inspired self-care items, and educational resources, every product is created with the intention of supporting healing, encouraging mental wellness, and bringing a little more beauty, connection, and purpose into everyday life.

My hope is that Breaking Wave becomes a place where tradition is honored, curiosity is encouraged, and healing feels accessible to everyone. Whether you're here to learn something new, discover a product that supports your journey, or simply feel inspired, I hope you find something here that reminds you to slow down, reconnect, and care for yourself.

Thank you for being here it truly means a lot to me.
